‘Riesling Macéré’ is Achillée’s skin‑contact take on Riesling. The family farms multiple terroirs across Alsace and vinifies the grapes using native yeasts, ageing half the wine in stainless steel and half in large oak on the lees. The resulting wine has no added sulphur.
It smells of lemon, blood orange and ripe exotic fruits such as pineapple and mango with hints of fir honey and flint
The palate is fresh and structured with lively acidity and salty minerality; it can age for a decade.
This is an expressive orange wine that combines Riesling’s high acidity and floral perfume with gentle tannin from maceration. Enjoy it chilled with Asian‑inspired dishes or rich seafood.
