Nuria Renom – The Wild Spirit of Catalan Natural Wine

Nuria Renom, a trailblazing winemaker and former head sommelier at Barcelona's Bar Brutal, channels her soul into every bottle of wine she produces. Her journey began in 2014 when she rented a humble vineyard in Garraf National Park, working tirelessly between early morning trains and late-night restaurant shifts. Today, as a wandering winemaker, Nuria collaborates with esteemed friends like Anna and Toni from La Salada, crafting wines from small, cherished plots across Alt Penedès and neighboring regions.

Nuria’s wines are a true reflection of herself—wild yet refined, brackish yet feminine, always expressive and authentic. She works with minimal intervention, biodynamic practices, and a deep respect for the calcareous and clay-rich soils of Catalonia. Each wine—whether vibrant Pet Nats, skin-contact whites, or playful reds—captures the essence of the Mediterranean climate and Nuria’s unwavering passion. With production limited to small, exclusive batches, her wines are as rare and unforgettable as the winemaker herself.
