MUR started with a simple conviction: the most honest wines come from people who treat the land with respect. We are a Lisbon-based distribution company bringing natural, low-intervention wines from small European producers to restaurants, wine bars, and private customers across Portugal.

We built MUR around relationships — with winemakers who farm without shortcuts, and with clients who want to understand what is in their glass. Every bottle we carry has a story worth telling, and we take that seriously.

In 2017, Masha and a small team of wine lovers opened the first MUR wine bar in Lisbon — not to build a business, but because they genuinely couldn’t stop talking about natural wine. What started as a place to gather grew into something larger: a distribution company, a wine school, and a community built around small producers who farm with care and make wine with honesty. We are the bridge between the people who make these wines and the people who deserve to drink them.

MUR is a natural wine distributor, wine school, and the home of Red Nose Bar — all based in Lisbon. We work with small producers across Portugal, Europe, and beyond, bringing their wines to restaurants, bars, shops, and private customers who want something real in their glass.

We don’t choose wines from catalogues. We travel, we visit cellars, we sit at tables with the people who make them. Every producer in our portfolio is someone we know personally — someone whose approach to farming and winemaking we trust without reservation. Low intervention isn’t a marketing label for us; it’s the baseline.

We’re honest about what natural wine is and what it isn’t. We don’t oversell and we don’t compromise. If a wine doesn’t move us, it doesn’t make the list — regardless of the name on the label or the price on the bottle.
