Ai Mareta is a beautifully crafted natural red wine that invites you to pause and savor the simple yet profound moments in life. A blend of 70% Sumoll and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, it expresses the essence of organic viticulture on sandy loam soils near the Mediterranean Sea in Nou de Gaià. The cooling Marinada sea breeze ensures consistent ripening, resulting in a wine that is fresh, structured, and full of character.
The Sumoll grapes are destemmed and combined with low-pressure Cabernet must before fermenting in stainless steel tanks for 10 days at 22–24°C. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 10 months in French oak barrels (225–300L) to gain volume, balance, and softness, without the use of any preservatives, stabilizers, or sulfites.
On the nose, Ai Mareta delights with aromas of pomegranate, cherries, and blueberries, balanced by elegant hints of oak aging. The palate reveals a structured wine with vibrant red fruits, well-integrated tannins, and a long, persistent finish.
