Celler 9+
Celler 9+, founded by Moisès Virgili Rovira in 2010, is a shining example of sustainable, organic, and sulfite-free winemaking in Nou de Gaià, Catalonia. With a profound respect for the environment and a passion for authenticity, the winery focuses on cultivating native varieties like Macabeu, Cartoixà, Moscatel, Grenache, and Sumoll. International grapes such as Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon play a smaller but significant role.
Working with 38 hectares (20 vineyards, the rest olive trees, sown land, and carob trees), Celler 9+ is deeply influenced by the Mediterranean Sea. The sea breeze, Marinada, protects the grapes and ensures even ripening. The winery's philosophy centers on minimal intervention, creating wines that are pure, natural, and reflective of their terroir. Certified organic by CCPAE, they produce wines with no sulfites, no clarifiers, stabilizers, or preservatives—wines made "as natural as possible."
