Clos Lentiscus, nestled in the protected Garraf Park of Penedès, just 40 km from Barcelona, is the heart of artisanal sparkling wine production. Founded in 1939, this family estate, led by the iconic "Bubble Man" Manel Aviñó and his daughter Nuria, crafts some of the most exciting natural sparkling wines in the world. The 20-hectare vineyard, farmed biodynamically, benefits from the Mediterranean climate, calcareous soils with marine fossils, and the region’s unique microelements, which impart a signature minerality and elegance to the wines.
Clos Lentiscus is dedicated to sustainable practices, avoiding pesticides or herbicides, and aligning viticulture with lunar cycles. From fermentation with native yeasts to using rosemary honey from their own bees for sparkling wines, every step reflects the family’s respect for nature and tradition.
